Australian Vanadium Ltd bolsters operational capabilities with appointment of senior battery metals managing director
Australian Vanadium Ltd (ASX:AVL) has appointed Graham Arvidson, an experienced metal battery executive, as managing director.
Arvidson has 18 years of experience in the minerals industry, including extensive experience with vanadium, lithium, nickel and other future battery metals.
Notably, his extensive experience spans the feasibility, evaluation, successful development and operation of mining assets globally and across a wide range of commodities.
Additionally, this team expansion is part of AVL’s progress towards a financial investment decision on the development of its namesake project in Western Australia and becoming a global leader in the vanadium market.

Arvidson brings proven project development expertise, an in-depth project development network in Western Australia specific to mining, commercial acumen in client and contractor side contract management and extensive management experience. management in tendering, negotiation, compliance and management O&M, EPC, EPCM, EPC-O and BOO forms of project delivery.
He has held senior management positions throughout the development and operation phases of the Nova Nickel project (Sirius Resources, IGO) and more recently led the operations and maintenance division of the Primero Group.
